Welcome to Repro Designs. Established in 1979, by Mr Prem Ramkissoon, Repro Designs started out as a reprographics business in a small room at Surat Centre, Prince Edward Street, Durban. Back then everything was produced by hand so we’ve had to embraced enormous change with the development of digital technology over the past few years.

Since the take-over of Repro Designs by Baboo Manawer in 1999, Repro Designs has steadily grown and now offers a one-stop solution for Design, Repro, Print, Marketing ,Web production and photography all under one roof.

Repro Designs has grown from strength to strength over the years, surviving tough economic times and periods of prosperity mainly due to our determination to exceed our client expectations by delivering a high quality, reliable, value for money service.

Not only do we offer everything you need for your business under one roof, but our service is fully flexible. For example, if you have alternative sources for design and artwork, we'll be happy just to provide print
and finishing services.

Reprographics (or REPRO as is commonly known), is where Repro Designs started. In the early days, Negatives, PMT’s and dark room processes was the core business of repro designs.

Shrouded in technical language and mysterious processes, its one of those grey areas that can understandably leave clients a little confused and anxious.

In reality its actually quite simple, although still highly skilled. It is the process by which your digital artwork - whether supplied by Repr Designs or any another studio - is converted into positives, and or printing plates appropriate for the format and specification of the job. As for a designer and artwork production, digital technology has brought phenomenal change to the repro process with significant benefits in terms of accuracy, flexibility and turnaround.

To the client, the most useful part of the repro process is probably the proof which is your "safety net" opportunity to ensure accuracy in text and colour reproduction before the job goes to press.
